Top-quality recarburiser additives for cast iron
The recarburiser additives for cast iron manufactured by Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso are used in different types of foundries. We manufacture recarburiser additives for nodular cast iron, with a high carbon content (99%) and low sulphur and nitrogen content, which can be very harmful for this level of quality.
We also manufacture recarburiser additives for grey and malleable cast iron, which also have a high carbon content, although with a somewhat higher sulphur and nitrogen percentage content.
Recarburiser additives for cast iron can be manufactured in ground or pelleted form, according to the customers’ needs, furnaces, addition method, etc.
Types of recarburiser additives for cast iron
Ground
- B-type graphite (pure electrode graphite with 99% fixed carbon).
- Adjustment graphite (quick assimilation graphite with 99% fixed carbon).
- E-type recarburiser (with 96-97% fixed carbon).
Pelleted
- BS-type graphite (pure electrode graphite with 98-99% fixed carbon).
- BNI-type recarburiser (with 97% fixed carbon).
- BN-type recarburiser (with 95-97% fixed carbon).
Graphite parts (coolers)
Quick cooling of the area is required in many cases, given the geometry of the part to cast and to avoid the formation of pockets, shrinkage, etc. In these cases, graphite cooling agents are placed inside the mould. Due to its characteristics, this material can dissipate heat quickly and producing no expansion, guaranteeing clean surfaces and a much better finish on the part.
