Foaming agents

Recarburisers

The recarburisation process involves adjusting the content of carbon steel or molten iron to compensate for losses during the melting process. In some cases, the steel requirements lead to the need to minimise the gas content in the recarburiser, as required to achieve the optimum results at the minimum cost of manufacturing. In this regard, Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso S.A. can manufacture recarburisers for steel mills with a content of up to 99% of carbon and <0.03 of nitrogen, sulphur and hydrogen.

• ANT-type recarburiser (with 82-84% fixed carbon).
• D-type recarburiser (with 84-86% fixed carbon).
• E-type recarburiser (with 96-97% fixed carbon).
• B-type graphite (low nitrogen content, with a 98-99% fixed carbon content).
