Modern facilities to manufacture top-quality recarburiser additives for the steelmaking industry
Currently, Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso’s steelmaking recarburiser additive manufacturing plants are hosted on a plot with a gross floor area of 10,000 m2, located in the Lanbarrengaina Industrial Estate in Oiartzun (Guipúzcoa, Spain).
This state-of-the-art plant was opened in 2017 and it has two pavilions with a gross floor area of 2,000 and 4,000 m2, respectively, separated by a sheltered patio, used to load and unload trucks.
The first pavilion hosts the pelleting, bagging, classification and packaged product storage installations. This building also hosts the company’s offices and its R&D&I and quality control laboratory.
The second pavilion is used for grinding, drying and bulk material classification activities. It also hosts the company’s storage facilities. The storage area comprises 13 silos, and is used to store raw materials ready for processing and finished products.
Our facilities are equipped with manufacturing, grinding, palletising and other equipment, as required to manufacture a wide range of recarburiser additives for steel mills and foundries (foaming agents, recarburisers, etc.). There is also a space for future capacity expansions to ensure that our activities can be adapted to the company’s growth.
Manufacturing equipment and systems
Proprietary manufacturing process, which has been upgraded and improved over the last three decades.
The manufacturing process carried out at Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso’s facilities is the result of more than 30 years of experience in the sector. This has allowed us to develop and perfect our own work methods to manufacture recarburisers for steel mills and foundries.
We use new raw materials and waste from industrial and other processes in our manufacturing processes. These raw materials include graphite, steelmaking coke, anthracite, special cokes, etc. and any other by-product with a content >80% of fixed carbon (provided that these are classified as NON-HAZARDOUS materials or waste).
We receive raw materials at our plant in different formats and dimensions, processing them to prepare our products:

These top-quality recarburiser additives are used in the manufacturing processes of steel mills and foundries in Spain and abroad. Moreover, Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso can also produce graphite parts upon the customer’s request, with the machining processes carried out at our facilities.

Laboratory
Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso’s laboratory plays an essential role in all of our manufacturing processes.
We have a modern laboratory in our facilities.
The laboratory conducts all quality control procedures required on the raw materials we use and it is also responsible for checking the quality of our finished products before they are delivered to the customer, to guarantee their full satisfaction. Finally, we conduct our own R&D&I processes at our laboratory.
