Family-run company, established in the 70s. The company was founded by Eloy Mendoza Bengoa, a steelmaking industry technician with extensive experience, which allowed him to understand the latest trends in the industry, moving towards synthetic steel manufacturing and casting methods, with the final addition of recarburisers to adjust the carbon content.
We manufacture different types of recarburiser additives for steel mills (such as foaming agents and recarburisers), as well as recarburiser additives for cast iron (ground and pelleted). The use of top-quality additives, such as the ones manufactured by Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso, offers huge advantages to the steelmaking and cast-iron industries: improved performance, greater accuracy and simplicity in work processes, guaranteeing higher levels of safety and reduction of the final manufacturing costs.

After its establishment, Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso operated in an industrial unit with a gross floor area of 3,500 m2, which was equipped with basic grinding and classification installations to manufacture steelmaking additives. Over the years, the company has grown and managed to cater to the needs of its customers.
In 2017, Recuperaciones Industriales Cadarso moved to its current plant, which has a gross floor area of 10,000 m2, and which is located in the Lanbarrengaina Industrial Estate in Oiartzun (Guipúzcoa, Spain). These modern facilities, equipped with cutting-edge machinery and its own laboratory, offer the capacity to produce steelmaking additives and allow the company to provide a response to the new challenges and trends in the sector. Thanks to its strategic location, only 15 km away from the French border and next to the A-8 motorway, the company can offer a quick and effective service to its customers.
